Cycling helmet Lazer Verde KinetiCore

A city helmet built for a sustainable future.

The Verde KinetiCore follows a circular design, built around using less material, reusing and recycling.

The whole helmet uses as few components as it can without giving up safety, and the Verde KinetiCore earned 4 stars for safety in rotational impact testing. Recycled materials are used wherever possible: at least 70% of the helmet by weight comes from them, recycled CDs among others. Who knew your old Nickelback and Madonna discs would come in useful one day?

Behind the clean city look of the Verde KinetiCore sits EcoLoc, a technical detail that lets the owner take the helmet apart easily at the end of its life. Unlock it, look for the marks on the different materials and sort them correctly at home.

A built-in port at the back takes the universal Lazer LED for better visibility, and at the end of its life every part comes apart.

The helmet suits city riders who are out every day, whatever the weather. Cleverly shaped vents improve airflow while keeping the rain out, and when the temperature drops, the winter kit adds warmth.

A step in the right direction
We want to help build a society where riders can enjoy riding safely, and over the years our main aim has been to do right by the rider. Yet even products that do people good have an effect on the environment.

In 2023 we began a life cycle analysis of several Lazer helmets to understand that effect. Working with South Pole, we can identify which parts of making a helmet weigh most on the climate and decide where real change is possible.

Small, regular steps are how we reduce that effect, and with the Verde KinetiCore an important one has been taken.
